HISTORY of Pinkerton-Williams Chapter 18 of Augusta, Ga

Chapter 18 was founded in 1958 by 15 African-American military service men who joined together because they had all been denied medical and psychological care in Georgia. They paid their own way to Montgomery, Alabama in order to receive medical treatment.
The name, Pinkerton-Williams, is in honor of 2 of those 15 honorable men.
